Ammonite Nostoceras hetonaiense
Nostoceras hetonaiense is an index fossil ammonite of the early Maastrichtian (about 72 million years ago). Its characteristic is that the hook is formed after winding it in a tower shape. The species name Hetonai is the old name of Hobetsu Tomiuchi. Pachydiscus japonicus and Gaudryceras hobetsense are also treated as index fossils of the same era. From this era, sea turtle Mesodermochelys, multiple species of mosasaurs, and dinosaur Kamuysaurus have been discovered.

边富内念珠菊石(Nostoceras hetonaiense)是一种被视为马斯特里赫特期最前期(约7,200万年前)标准化石的菊石。卷缩为塔型后形成挂钩等可谓一大特征。边富内这个种小名为穗别富内的旧称。
日本粗碟菊石(Pachydiscus japonicus)、穗别高德利菊石(Gaudryceras hobetsense)也被视为同时代的标准化石。从这个时代起，海龟、棱皮龟、各种沧龙、恐龙神威龙开始陆续出土。
菊石 邊富內念珠菊石（Nostoceras hetonaiense）
邊富內念珠菊石（Nostoceras hetonaiense）這種菊石，為馬斯特里赫特期上半期（約7,200萬年前）的標準化石。因為捲成塔狀所以形成鉤子等的特徵。Hetonai（邊富內）的種小名（specific epithet），為穗別富內的舊稱。
日本粗碟菊石（Pachydiscus japonicus）、穗別高德利菊石（Gaudryceras hobetsense）也被當作同時代的標準化石。由這個時代挖出海龜 棱皮龜（Mesodermochelys）、幾種的蒼龍、恐龍神威龍。
암모나이트 노스토케라스 헤토나이엔세 (Nostoceras hetonaiense)
노스토케라스 헤토나이엔세(Nostoceras hetonaiense)는 마스트리히티안기 최전기(약 7200만 년 전)의 시준 화석인 암모나이트이다. 탑 모양으로 나선 형태를 이룬 후 후크를 형성하는 것 등이 특징이다. 종소명인 헤토나이(辺富内)는 호베쓰 도미우치의 옛 이름이다.
파키디스쿠스 자포니쿠스(Pachydiscus japonicus), 고드리케라스 호베쓰엔제(Gaudryceras hobetsense)도 동시대의 시준 화석으로 취급된다. 이 시대에는 바다거북 메소다모케리스, 모사사우루스 여러 종, 공룡 카무이사우루스가 출토되었다.
アンモナイト ノストセラス・ヘトナイエンセ (Nostoceras hetonaiense)
ノストセラス・ヘトナイエンセ（Nostoceras hetonaiense）はマーストリヒチアン期最前期（約7,200万年前）の示準化石となるアンモナイト。塔状に巻いてからフックを形成することなどが特徴。種小名のヘトナイ（辺富内）は、穂別富内の旧称。
パキディスクス・ジャポニクス（Pachydiscus japonicus）、ゴードリセラス・ホベツエンゼ（Gaudryceras hobetsense）も同時代の示準化石として扱われている。この時代からはウミガメ メソダーモケリス、モササウルス複数種、恐竜カムイサウルスが産出している。
